IMPORTANT NOTICE

To All Apartment Owners Associations (AOAs) and Ad-hoc Apartment Owners Associations (Ad-hoc AOAs)

Reference is invited to the Important Notice dated 25.04.2026 issued by the Office of the Court Receiver, whereby all AOAs and Ad-hoc AOAs were advised to undertake certain compliances relating to governance, registration, financial management, and constitution of the Board of Management.

It is expected that the requisite compliances have already been undertaken by the respective AOAs. Further, all Ad-hoc AOAs were specifically advised to take necessary steps for registration of their Association with the office of the concerned Deputy Registrar and to ensure the constitution of a duly elected Board of Management through timely elections.

However, it has been observed that compliance status reports have not been received from several AOAs and Ad-hoc AOAs.

Accordingly, the Presidents and Secretaries of all AOAs and Ad-hoc AOAs are hereby directed once again to furnish, on an urgent basis, the current status of compliance with the directions contained in the Notice dated 25.04.2026, including, inter alia:

  1. Status of registration of the Association with the office of the Deputy Registrar (applicable to Ad-hoc AOAs);
  2. Status of elections conducted or proposed to be conducted for constitution of the Board of Management;
  3. Details and list of the newly elected Board of Management, wherever applicable;
  4. Status of any other pending compliances referred to in the Notice dated 25.04.2026; and
  5. Expected timeline for completion of any pending compliances.

All concerned Ad-hoc AOAs are therefore advised to complete the requisite registration and governance-related compliances without any further delay.

Failure to furnish the requisite information or to comply with the aforesaid directions may invite appropriate action and/or such measures as may be considered necessary by the Office of the Court Receiver, Monitoring Committee.

All AOAs and Ad-hoc AOAs are requested to treat this matter as MOST URGENT and ensure immediate compliance.
