Measures taken by NBCC for quality control in Amrapali Works

It is to mention that the Amrapali Project is a stalled /incomplete work of the erstwhile Amrapali Group of Companies. The work was abandoned by the Amrapali Group for a long period of 7-8 years. The work has been left incomplete and the Towers/Villas are at the different stages of construction. The entire work is spread at Noida & Greater Noida region.

The following measures are being taken up by NBCC for ensuring quality control in Amrapali Works.

The entire works are being carried out strictly as per the original specifications mentioned in the Brochure of Amrapali project, provision of NBCC contract agreement and as per general engineering practice by following all the rules & regulations, norms, and specifications.

  • It is worth mentioning here that the NBCC is executing all the balance/ incomplete works as per CPWD specifications and norms. All the construction material being incorporated in the works are as per the standard approved makes as mentioned in the contract agreement. Proper quality checks/ testing of various materials as per the list of mandatory test and frequency and as per CPWD specification are being conducted.
  • Accordingly, all the materials being used for the execution of work are being tested either in the field laboratory or outside NABL accredited labs like Shri Ram Institute, Govt. Labs like National Test House, NSIC, etc. as per the list of mandatory test and test frequency as per CPWD specification.
  • The works are regularly being inspected/ visited by the buyers and officials of NBCC are also inspecting the progress and quality of all ongoing works on regular basis. The contractors deployed for the execution of work are being instructed on regular basis for ensuring the proper quality of work.
  • NBCC has appointed to VNIT Nagpur & NIT Jalandhar as third-party Inspection Agency (TPIA) for quality assurance & quality control at different projects.
